Construction Site Supervision SVQ Level 3
This course is designed to meet the development and qualification needs of construction site supervisors operating in building (general and house building) or civil engineering (including those operating as consulting site engineers) or as a site supervisor in any specialist areas/activities within these categories. This SVQ is designed for construction site supervisory practitioners in both the private and the public sectors of the economy. It is suitable both for established construction site supervisors and for those developing their abilities in this occupation. To achieve this qualification, supervisors have to provide satisfactory evidence of their supervisory capabilities, technical knowledge and competence in the workplace. On completion of this qualification and subject to units chosen, the site supervisor will have demonstrated abilities to: - implement health and safety in the workplace - organise work operations and activities - organise resources for the work - monitor and supervise work operations and activities - maintatin team and individual performance - establish working relationships
